Us
Established in 1974,
R B Flett LTD is a family run business with branches in Orkney and Caithness.
It became a dealer
of John Deere equipment in 1978 making it the one of the oldest John
Deere dealers in Scotland. In the early 1980s, the company was awarded
the "John Deere Golden Tractor Award" for "Most Improved
Dealers" and "Most Consistent Market Share".
In 1990, we expanded
to mainland Scotland thus covering the area to the north of Helmsdale,
Orkney and Shetland. This expansion was followed closely by the opening
of the first Caithness Branch.
A shop within the
premises of the Orkney Auction Mart providing additional parts and sales
facilities was opened in Kirkwall in August 1996.
In November 2003
we celebrated 25years as the John Deere dealer for Orkney and Shetland
The workshop and
administration premises in the watten Depot were refurbished in 2003
Our Orphir Parts
dept has been expanded with completion in 2005
The shop at the Orkney mart was licenced for the sale of animal veterinary
products in 2003 so Ivomec, Trodax and other common animal health products
can now be sold from there.

Servicing
All R B Flett Ltd's
apprentices are specifically trained to ensure the highest level of
service possible. The most recent engineers took part in the John Deere
Agricultural Tech Programme, a pioneering City and Guilds Standard Course
held at Brooksby College in Melton Mowbray.

We have over 19,000
line items in our totally computerized parts stock. Direct links to
several manufacturers ensures that we can quickly supply parts throughout
